I’m writing this review for Roxy, who has been helping me professionally organize my closet. I truly can’t express enough how life-changing this experience has been. I have a large closet, and for years I felt completely overwhelmed and had no idea where to start. Since working with Roxy virtually, everything has changed. She helped me rediscover pieces of clothing I didn’t even remember owning and created a system that makes getting dressed so much easier and more enjoyable. Roxy is incredibly patient, organized, and detail-oriented. When there is order there is peace!! Her expertise and guidance have made such a difference in my daily life, and I honestly had no idea how much I needed her help until I experienced it for myself. My son found Positively Organized doing a Google search for help for me, an 81 year old woman, struggling to downsize. We interviewed Roxy and were convinced she was the pleasant organizer who could work at my side making difficult choices whether to keep, donate, or trash. She was tireless, efficient, and just the person I needed to finish packing. Her system was to set me up at a table and bring groups of items for me to sort when it wasn’t obvious what I wanted to do with items. She carefully labeled boxes and tubs and moved them with the help of a neighbor to organized stacks in my 3 car garage. The first day we worked side by side for about 6 1/2 hours. The next day because of a previous commitment, I worked alone and appreciated the opportunity to bring items from high shelves in the laundry room and prepare myself for packing the following day. Each time items were less than perfectly clean, she washed and dried them before packing. When she realized I needed to replenish my bubble wrap, or save boxes with lids, or notify my housekeeper of a time to do a deep cleaning, she advised and reminded me to make calls. If furniture had to be rearranged, she carefully moved the item taking care to protect my hardwood floors. She made good suggestions that  improved the staging that the decorator had done. We agreed that one of the rooms was a total disaster as it had been staged and repositioned furniture. Interestingly the decorator ended up using the arrangement we had changed. Whenever something needed to be donated. Roxy offered to facilitate the delivery. She even knew of a charity that would accept foreign European currency that was out-of-use.  On the second 6 hour day, everything was moved and stacked in the garage. I was sad to say goodbye. She was so much fun to work with. After the first day, my kitchen looked like a different place. I asked her to pick the room she was most pleased with and it was the kitchen. One photo shows her playfully jumping for joy in the kitchen. The second photo is of me in a bedroom. I had refinished the twin set and Roxy delayed working for me until I got the project finished. She couldn’t start helping me until I was free to be 100% engaged in decision making. The next photo is of Roxy and my neighbor who volunteered to work with us for 3 days.  The two were the muscle behind the packing. My final photo is of the belongings packed and waiting for my house to sell. I cannot praise enough the experience of working with Roxy.
